With 21 years in business, Barbara Elliott and Jennifer Ward-Woods, have seen their business grow and prosper into a much sought after million dollar design firm – all the while maintaining their love for family and each other.

Their Business -Decorating Den Interiors “The Sisters and Company”- is a part of North America,’s largest interior design/home furnishing franchise. They are award winning designers, winning Decorator of the Year in 2008 and in 2016. Barbara and Jennifer have won numerous Dream Room and sales awards. They have had their work published in prestigious publication and media outlets such as Good Housekeeping, Decorating Solutions, Country Kitchens, Window Fashions, Better Home and Garden, Traditional Home, and HGTV, as well as numerous Home Furnishings trade publications. They were also featured on the cover of Draperies & Window Coverings Magazine in November 2007.

Barbara and Jennifer certainly know each other better than most business partners do. They are two sisters, who enjoy juggling a busy business and personal schedules. Barbara is married to a supportive husband and together they have three children. Her only grandchild is now 5. Jennifer is also married and they have four children of which the youngest is in college. Jennifer also has a grandchild who is now two years old. Not only did they raise their children together; they vacation together and live a few houses apart from each other. Both enjoy shopping, traveling and sightseeing.

Their Clients love working with them. “We do our best to make the entire design experience fun, exciting and totally enjoyable. Our biggest compliment is when we see tears of joy in our clients eyes when they see the “reveal” of their room makeover. We’ve always liked a lot of the same things, so we are almost on the same wavelength,” Elliott says. “We both have the same work ethic; feeling like the other person is receiving more or doing more. As we say, we’ve got more at stake here than just our business- we have our family”.
