Luxury Family Room

Barbara and Jennifer created a warm and inviting family room that draws you towards the lovely back wall with its painted cabinetry and brightened stone fireplace. Everything in this gorgeous space creates light wherever you look; from the stunning chandelier that highlights the high beamed ceilings, to the more intimate lighting created in the freshly painted cabinetry with the glass shelves so that spotlights shine through to the bottom. Table lamps offer task lighting and a rosy ambience.

Project Overview:

Note the textures in this space including the multi-hued area rug and the pretty pleats on the soft green armchair. The lightly patterned drapery panels add softness, breaking up the lines of the plantation shutters and bridges the distance from the beams to the floor. Everything is ready for a family gathering. Wouldn’t you like to sit down and stay a while?
