Elegant Atlanta Dining

Project Overview:

The focus of this outdated dining room was to create a sophisticated space with adequate seating to accommodate large family gatherings. A luxurious dining room was created in washed alabaster and ivory finishes, and a long slender table with graceful curves sets the stage.

To transform this dining room, first we addressed the walls and ceiling. A beautiful wallpaper in mica shells was chosen for the ceilings. Picture molding was added to the wall to match the boxes below the chair molding. An ivory color in different sheen was chosen for the walls. Two chandeliers in crystal and chrome were selected for the ceiling.

An ivory table that extends to 138 inches was selected. Chairs with a blush frame and crème tweed boucle fabric gracefully curved beckons you to take a seat. The buffet provides needed storage and elegance at the same time.

To address the windows, soft shading was added for privacy. Drapery panels in a luxurious fabric were added to the windows and hung from acrylic rods with gold hardware.

A contemporary canvas hangs above the buffet to add color and connect the adjoining rooms. Mirrored pedestals adorned with iron sculptures adds definition. Accessories in brilliant blue and gold complete the look.
