Barbara Elliott is a celebrated interior designer renowned for crafting richly layered, statementmaking interiors that embody sophistication, confidence, and individuality. Her work is defined by a fearless use of color, refined textures, and a masterful sense of scale—creating spaces that are both visually striking and deeply personal.

Rooted in a legacy of entrepreneurship and shaped by her upbringing on a North Carolina farm as one of ten siblings, Barbara brings an uncommon blend of discipline, vision, and authenticity to her work. Her early career as an international auditor and CPA laid the foundation for a design approach that is as strategic as it is artistic—where beauty and precision coexist effortlessly.

In 1997, she made a decisive pivot to pursue her passion, building a distinguished design firm alongside her sister Jennifer. Together, they have become known for delivering exceptional interiors that balance bold expression with timeless elegance.

Barbara’s signature aesthetic is unmistakable—luxury with intention. Every space is meticulously curated, layered with depth, and tailored to reflect the lifestyle and aspirations of her clients. The result is more than design—it is an experience.

Jennifer Ward-Woods brings passion, creativity, and refined vision to every space she designs. Raised on a farm in North Carolina alongside her sister Barbara and eight siblings, Jennifer’s love for interiors began early, inspired by her mother’s talent for sewing and decorating. That early exposure to craftsmanship and beauty continues to influence her thoughtful, detail-driven approach to design today.

After a successful career in the insurance and investment industry, Jennifer followed her true calling and began designing with Decorating Den Interiors more than three decades ago. Her natural design talent and commitment to excellence inspired her sister Barbara to open a franchise in Atlanta, where Jennifer later joined her. Together, they have built a thriving interior design business rooted in creativity, collaboration, and family values.

Jennifer is known for creating interiors that feel both luxurious and livable, blending timeless foundations with expressive color, layered textures, statement lighting, and custom details. She believes exceptional design should reflect the personality and lifestyle of each client, resulting in spaces that feel beautifully curated, comfortable, and inspiring.

Jennifer especially enjoys the excitement of the “big reveal,” when clients experience the transformation of their home into a space that truly reflects who they are and how they want to live.
