And Then It Was Gone

This family room was dark and lacked the modern feel our homeowner wanted. The space was also narrow and our client needed as much seating as possible. The first thing to go was the enormous stone fireplace, mantel and hearth.

Location: Atlanta, GA

Project Overview:

The area rug lends a whimsical and sophisticated feel, while the bold colors of green, blue, and gray provide a backdrop for this room.

A cozy sofa in soft gray is paired with two gray swivel gliders highlighting a contrasting green outer back. The chairs were selected to allow maximum TV viewing or talking to guests in the adjacent kitchen.

The sleek new fireplace wall and the gold and bronze chandeliers add glamour to the room and accessories completed the look.
