Dark and Dated Dining

The dining room was dark and dated and our client wanted a modern sleek dining room for his large family.

Navy blue and jade green highlighted this dining room. A modern shaped leg table accommodated the seating our client required. Sleek upholstered chairs in a champagne finish were paired with a mirrored front sideboard with a stone top. Shimmering panels accented with a navy silk banding and jade green Greek key tape hangs from gold rods and crystal finials.

Project Overview:

We decided on a soft grey, navy, and jade green color palette. The dated medallion was removed to highlight the ceiling, and a beautiful blue paint color was chosen to highlight the ceiling trim. A modern chandelier with bright gold and crystal rods was selected to illuminate the room. Because we needed to maximize seating, a shaped leg table that extends to 134” was chosen.

The color of the table is highlighted with gorgeous veneers. Sexy chairs in a taupe grey fabric compliment the table. A beautiful area rug was chosen to soften the hardwood floors. A beautiful, mirrored sideboard was chosen with a stone top for storage. Tall marble and brass lamps are paired with an abstract art piece highlighting all the colors in the room.

For the windows, panels are fabricated from shimmering linen fabric. The panel edge is highlighted with banding of navy silk and topped with a jade green Greek eye tape. Gold rods and crystal finial complete the look.
