A Sunshine Room

Project Overview:

Our client wanted to transform her living room into a “She Room”.  She requested a bright, glamorous, and elegant space where she could retreat to and have a quiet space to relax and read. The room was very small and awkward without much light so we started by painting the room in a bright citron yellow color which adds a wow effect! A beautiful custom-made left arm chaise was designed and upholstered in a silver metallic linen fabric with acrylic legs. Two accent chairs with a cut-out arm design were chosen for additional seating.

Beautiful, polished steel interconnected tables with inset Capiz shell tops were chosen as the room’s centerpiece. The chaise is ‘book ended’ with a complimenting end table and accent table. Large nickel pill-shaped lamps were added to provide task lighting. A mirrored chest was added along with a beautiful large crystal wall art to add glamour to the room. We used a variety of aqua accessories to complement the yellow. We selected a citron, gray and black graphic design fabric banded with a sparkly fabric for window treatments and hung them on nickel rods to frame the windows. Lastly, a large contemporary sputnik chandelier and sputnik wall sconces were selected to provide lighting and added glam to the room.
