ADORABLE PURPLE NURSERY

The homeowner wanted to turn an unused guest bedroom into a nursery for her first grandbaby. She wanted the room to be
warm and exciting, but stylish.

A beautiful shade of orchid was selected for the walls and a lighter shade was used on the ceiling. To create a feminine touch
the light fixture was changed to a crystal chandelier and a pair of wall sconces was chosen for the wall. Youthful colors of hot
pink, lemongrass, lilac, and green was chosen for the fabrics and floor coverings. The crib was selected in a French white finish
with gentle curves. A changing station and dresser were chosen in a cotton candy finish. To contrast the traditional furniture,
a modern rug was chosen with an Arabesque pattern. Also, a mirrored chest was added to give the space a little more grown-up
feel. To address the one small window in the room, a roman shade was fabricated from a pink and creme windowpane design
. Globet pleated panels with tassel and beaded trim accent the top of the panels. Black and white photos of the granddaughter
were framed and hung above the dresser. Colorful accessories complete the fun look of the room.
