Hideaway Retreat

Project Overview:

Our client wanted to create a hideaway retreat for her enclosed in porch. She wanted a space to feel zen-ful and offer a place to entertain guests as this porch sits center stage in her home.

We first chose plush swivel accents chairs and placed them around a stone cast coffee table to create a conversational area. The color palette reflects the indoors, with black, white, and gray. The coffee table and accent tables provide a place for drinks and offer a reminiscent of rolling waves. This provides a tropical aesthetic.

For wall décor, hand-hammered wall décor bowls hang on the wall for visual elements to each side of the room. We decided to paint the ceiling in a black gloss finish and added an acrylic and black ceiling fan to circulate air. To complete the look a geometric outdoor rug in shades of gray and white was added to the floor.
