A Black & White Palette

Project Overview:

Our client wanted to update her main-level patio to a sleek modern look with a relaxing seating area and a place to dine. We started by removing the existing heavy pergola and opening the space up to the beautiful tree. We then carried the black-and-white color palette from the interior seamlessly onto the outdoor patio. For seating, we selected a cozy daybed with ultra-comfortable cushions and an overstuffed sock-weave design, offering both style and relaxation. A round marble concrete dining table with an inverted, sleek base became the focal point of the dining area, accompanied by matching chairs that echo the design of the daybed for a cohesive look.

To add contrast, we incorporated two bold accent tables positioned alongside the daybed to enhance the space’s functionality and aesthetic. For evening ambiance, we installed black metal wall sconces adding a warm, inviting glow. A geometric outdoor rug anchors the furniture arrangement, tying all the elements together. To complete the setting, we added matte ceramic flatware to the dining table along with plush outdoor pillows, ensuring the space is as comfortable as it is stylish. The result is an elegant, modern outdoor retreat that seamlessly extends the design of the interior.
