Bright & Airy Dining Room

After we started remodeling their kitchen, our clients agreed to convert their existing unused living room into a new dining room open to the new kitchen.

Location: Atlanta, GA

Designer Credits: Barbara Elliott and Jennifer Ward-Woods

Project Overview:

First, the wall separating the kitchen and living room was removed. Base cabinets were added to the existing row in the kitchen. Additional bar stools were added to the new space.

To address the new dining room, a modern polished nickel chandelier was chosen to compliment the pendants in the adjacent kitchen. Our client wanted to be able to entertain but not overcrowd the space. A glam extension table with chrome legs was chosen. The table is paired with white leather swivel chairs. A large art canvas was selected to showcase all the colors of the space.

Colors were continued with an abstract area rug. To complete the look, window treatments were designed to hang from the top of the ceiling. Navy faux silk was chosen for the panels. They are accented with spice tape on the leading edge. Chrome hardware completes the look.
