Challenging Ceilings

Barbara and Jennifer created a beautiful girls suite for their client’s daughter. A stunning contemporary bedroom filled with pops of color in challenging sloped ceiling space. The custom paint treatment in hot pink with blue geometric lines draws the eye to the modern bed with pillows and flanked by chests highlighting the room’s color palette. The window treatments, 3D artwork, and accessories had our client speechless.

Project Overview:

The young lady wanted a pink and blue bedroom to represent her colorful style. This room has deep sloping ceilings, limited wall space and was long and narrow so Barbara and Jennifer used a stunning custom paint treatment on the wall that housed the bed to solve this issue. The hot pink wall with bold blue geometric lines helps to break up the narrow space.

A beautiful contemporary ivory bed was placed between two blue chests. The white bedding with a tan border was a good foundation for the hot pink bolster and patterned pillows in pink and blues that highlighted the room’s color palette. To maximize space in the room, accent chairs in blue velvet were added to provide additional seating. The contemporary white light fixture was whimsical and fun.

The blue window treatments panels were banded in white and pink tape and hung on gold hardware.
