The homeowners wanted to update their unused dining room into a modern, elegant space. To begin the transformation we chose a palette of navy, khaki, and creme. A sleek leg table was paired with upholstered side chairs in a tan and silver pattern. A mirrored server, crystal chandelier, and elegant window treatments complete the look.

Project Overview:

The homeowners wanted to update their lackluster dining room. They wanted a modern, elegant space.

The first step was to change the color of the walls. We chose to paint the walls an ink blue color and accented the trey ceiling with a shade of khaki. The trim was painted white for a soft contrast. The clients loved upholstered dining chairs, so we chose chairs with high back design and covered them in a khaki and silver print. The floors were restained to a darker color to give a more modern feel. A sleek leg table and a mirrored buffet were chosen to complete the furniture. A pair of tall lamps with stainless and stone bases and rectangular shades were chosen with a silver mirror with intertwined circles to go above the buffet.

A crystal chandelier with 4 rows of crystal balls and a silver base was selected to light the room. To dress the 3 single with arch transoms, panels were hung across the entire wall above the transom to give height and connect the windows.
A beautiful sheer embroidered fabric with a khaki background and modern damask design with silver sequins was chosen for the panels.
Blue ink accessories on the server and table complete the look.
