Extra Seating Was Needed

The family room was small and connected to the kitchen and our client wanted plenty of seating for family gatherings and entertaining.

Location: Atlanta, GA

Project Overview:

First, we added more seating. We picked two cream-colored bench sofas placed across from each other. Then, we included two swivel chairs for extra seating options. To add versatility, we added two navy velvet tufted ottomans on wheels that can be used as both seats and footrests. Colorful pillows were also thrown in for a lively touch.

For the floor, we chose a soft and elegant area rug in neutral shades of cream and gray while the tables are modern with a rich merlot wood tone.

Window treatments were custom made in linen fabric shades of blue and navy, with simple gold rods for a balanced look.

We upgraded the old ceiling fan to a modern one with gold accents and added lamps with striking gold circle designs for more light. Finally, we hung oversized abstract metal art in white and gold, along with some accessories, to finish off the room’s new look.
