Look up at the Halo Chandelier

Our client purchased their new home knowing it had ‘good bones,’ but it didn’t reflect their style. They wanted their living room to create a “WOW” with bold, vivid colors!

Location: Atlanta, GA

Designer Credits: Barbara Elliott and Jennifer Ward-Woods

Project Overview:

First, we had to change the structural elements in the room. The old stone fireplace was removed and replaced with a sleek large-scale porcelain tile, creating the feel of an entire slab stone.

Next, the dated chandelier was replaced with a grand halo crystal light fixture. We chose a bold color palette of royal blue, tangerine, and gray. We selected a circular sofa to float in the center of the room. A pair of contemporary wingback chairs covered in gray chenille flank the fireplace. A couple of round end tables with marble tops anchor the beautiful blue tufted sofa. A round glass-top cocktail table completes the look.

For the windows, bold tangerine fabric panels hang high above the stacked windows. A gold tape is paired with a shimmering fabric banding to create a bold statement. Three pieces of canvas are hung on a tall wall to make a bold statement. Tall gold bulb lamps and beautiful pillows complete the look.
