Updated Laundry Room

Our client wanted to update her laundry room. She requested that it be functional with lots of storage and a deep sink for paintbrushes for her art studio supplies.

Location: Atlanta, GA

Designer Credits: Barbara Elliott and
Jennifer Ward-Woods

Project Overview:

We first started by choosing a black and white color palette. We chose a geometric black and white marble tile for the floors. The ceiling was painted in a black sheen paint.

New custom cabinets in a Pure White finish were added to the space for storage. Contemporary black and nickel pulls were added to the cabinet colors. The countertops were chosen in a heavy gray black and white granite material that laid on top of the washer and dryer to provide functional use.

A Roman Shade in a cotton fabric that has a black and white pattern mounted the ceiling to extend the height of the room. For lighting, a double white silk shade trimmed in a black finish was added for a casual lighting display. Family photos and minimal accessories were added to complete the look.
