Atlanta Interior Designers
Barbara Elliott and Jennifer Ward-Woods were presented with multiple design awards at the 37th Dream Room Awards presentation.
Franchise company Decorating Den Interiors held this year’s award ceremony via a special international video conference that replaced the company’s normal annual conference, not held because of the ongoing Covid19 restrictions. Judges included interior design journalists and editors from the U.S. and Canada.
The goal of this project was to create a modern but relaxing primary bedroom with style. A modern circular chandelier highlights the decorative ceiling.
A tall upholstered bed is covered in grey chenille and the bedding finished the look in shades of gray and navy. A well sized bench provides a place to rest. Bold wallpaper and silk draperies complete the look.

The focus of this outdated dining room was to create a sophisticated space with adequate seating to accommodate large family gatherings.
A luxurious dining room was created in washed alabaster and ivory finishes, and a long slender table with graceful curves sets the stage. To address the windows, soft shading was added for privacy. Drapery panels in a luxurious fabric were added to the windows and hung from acrylic rods with gold hardware.

A kid’s space for relaxation and learning was created from an unfinished basement to allow for home schooling, play and relaxation.
Bold colors and durable fabrics set the stage. One of the walls is painted in a black chalk paint, one wall was wallpapered, and one wall was painted in a beautiful lake blue.

Interior design sisters Barbara and Jennifer also received four awards in the People’s Choice design competition judged online by the general public.
