A Dual Purpose Space

Our client wanted a functional and stylish dual-purpose space that accommodated both a nursery and a guest bedroom while ensuring the design remained cohesive, practical, and reflective of the client’s style. Balancing the needs of a growing family with the comfort of visiting guests was key.

Project Overview:

We designed a dual-purpose space that seamlessly combines a nursery and a guest bedroom, meeting the client’s need for both functionality and style. The nursery was cleverly integrated into the closet, transforming it into a cozy, dedicated nook for the family’s newest addition. To elevate the design, the standard closet doors were replaced with an elegant arched door frame, adding architectural character and charm to the room.

The color palette was thoughtfully curated to create a serene and inviting atmosphere. Sherwin-Williams’ Cilantro Green serves as the anchor hue, beautifully complemented by crisp white wall paneling that extends high of 5 feet on the wall, natural wicker textures and warm burl wood furnishings complete the space. These earthy and calming tones flow harmoniously throughout the space, ensuring a cohesive and balanced look between the nursery and guest areas.

The result is a functional, stylish retreat that accommodates both visiting guests and the growing family with ease, reflecting the client’s style while maintaining comfort and practicality.
