New Downtown Condo

Working from blueprints, Barbara and Jennifer designed this living space for a luxury high-rise condo that was still under construction. The clients wanted a look that felt dramatic yet approachable, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that flowed seamlessly into the adjoining kitchen and dining areas.

Project Overview:

A smoky green palette layered with soft crème tones sets the foundation, while natural wood elements introduce warmth and depth. The focal wall, finished in reeded oak, adds texture and architectural interest, grounding the space. Green velvet armchairs are positioned to frame the sliding doors, allowing the view to remain a central feature while creating a cozy, conversational moment.

A substantial cocktail table anchors the seating area and offers practical storage, while a sculptural area rug ties the elements together and softens the open layout. Layered textures, tailored upholstery, and subtle pattern add dimension without overwhelming the space.

The result is a balanced, modern living area—warm, cohesive, and thoughtfully designed to connect beautifully with its surroundings while making the most of both the view and the layout.
