Project Overview:

Our client wanted to update her outdated dining room with a sleek transitional space where she could entertain with maximum seating.

New architectural details were added to create a beautiful coffered ceiling and we closed in the niche area for symmetry. A modern polished nickel crystal chandelier was chosen to illuminate the space. Our client wanted to be able to entertain but not overcrowd the area, so we selected a dark wood oval-shaped dining table trimmed out in gold. The table is paired with narrow legged chairs, and beautiful emerald green host chairs at each end of the table.

A geometric wallpaper in metallic gold and gray panel the walls and the colors were continued with an abstract area rug. Two large shadow boxes showcase black and metallic gold art. An oversized credenza in gold and silver hues was added to store the china and silverware while a heavy blended mirror leans on the credenza to reflect the beauty of the room. To complete the look, window treatments in a faux silk fabric in taupe were designed to hang from the top of the ceiling. They are accented with gold and gray tape at the leading edge and brushed gold hardware completes the look.
